I gotta say, this tripod looks pretty slick. I am surprised nobody else has thought of a similar design before. It is only logical to reduce negative space as much as possible, especially on a tool that is meant to be super portable. I fully trust PeakDesign to pull this off. They have an impressive history of successful Kickstarter campaigns and I have no doubt this one will be a hit too.
Alright, sorry for the late post but here’s a quick update on the photo outing I mentioned a few days ago. I did go back to the same spot and took some more photos of the Brisbane skyline, this time paying a little bit more attention to the composition. This is my favourite shot from that night.
I am not sure if I like so much that I’d get it printed and hang it on a wall.
I was just planning my photo walk tomorrow evening and I thought I might as well blog a few lines about it.
Technically, it’s not a New Year’s resolution but going forward, I want to spend more time taking images and improving my photography. And the best way to do this is to take the camera and go out and shoot. So, my plan is to do exactly that. Every 2-3 weeks, after work, I’ll grab my camera bag and go out for a few hours just when then light gets interesting and take some photos.
